In a heartbreaking tragedy, a loving husband watched helplessly as his wife and three children were involved in a fatal car accident.  Shauntia Jackson was in a separate vehicle from her husband traveling on interstate 385 in Greenville around 3:30 am when things went terribly wrong.

A driver headed in the wrong direction violently crashed into Jackson’s car killing her and injuring her children.  Police report that her husband saw the head on collision that proved to be fatal for his wife.  The couple was talking on a cellphone when the husband tried to warn his wife about the danger, but it was too late.  The couple’s three children 9,8 and 3 were injured and remain in serious condition.

The driver who is faulted for the collision has had injuries but is expected to survive.  The victim was identified as Shauntia Jackson, 27 and was pronounced dead at the scene.  She was reported to be wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.Upset driver After Traffic Accident

The accident happened in the northbound lanes of interstate three eighty-five in the early morning hours of Monday.  The man charged as also been charged with a DUI and was very intoxicated at the time of the accident.

“A young mother lost her life because of the irresponsible actions of another person.  The fact that the other driver was charged with a DUI proves he acted irresponsibly and cost a person their life.  When you ingest alcohol and then make the poor decision to drive you need to be prepared to assume the consequences for your actions,” says Joe Sanderfur a managing partner at a top Myrtle Beach car accident law firm at joeandmartin.com/myrtle-beach

crashHow painful it must have been to watch in horror as your entire family is involved in a massive head on collision.  And then to find out that the other driver was drinking and driving, taking the life of your precious loved one.  It is almost too horrible for words to express the pain and suffering.  If you or a loved one has been a victim of a wrongful death or injury at the hands of another person, the first thing you need to do is retain an attorney to start fighting for you.

In this particular case a young father now has the financial burden of three severely injured children, with mounting medical bills, in addition to burial cost of his precious wife.  These are all just practical sides of the damage.  These children and their father will have severe pain in the coming months and years dealing with the loss of their wife and mother.  All because a man chose to drink and get behind the wheel of a car.

If you ever find yourself in this situation let an experienced attorney fight for you and help you move on with your life in the best way possible.  Victims deserve to be compensated for the damage done at the hands of irresponsible people.  Don’t wait, call a firm today so they can help.
